mph Top Ten Spins of the Year: Number 10
If you picked up a copy of the Dec/Jan issue you already found out what 10 vehicles we think deserve adulation. However, for the next ten days mph-online will be bringing you the cars, trucks and SUVs that made the list.
10. Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad-Cab
It's safe to say that any of the SRT
mad-scientist unit's vehicles could have made it on
this list. From the snapcrackle-
popping Neon
SRT-4 to the boisterous
Charger SRT-8, we loved
every minute in all of
them. But we've decided
to honor the ultimate
Frankenstein among
them, this Viper-engined,
four-door, five passenger
pickup.
Though it weighs in at a
whopping 5450 pounds,
it hustles quickly to 100
mph, miraculously
slows its hulking
weight with big Brembo
brakes, and handles
corners like a car one-third
its size. Plus, you
could fit a bison back
there, dude.
