mph Top Ten Spins of the Year: Number 9
We continue our top ten list that is currently in the Dec/Jan issue of the magazine.
#9. Range Rover Sport
Initially, we thought the Range Rover
Sport was stupid. It looks basically like the regular
Range Rover. It's based on the platform of the LR3.
So why wouldn't you just get one or the other of
those fine vehicles? Then we saw the thing in
person. Sitting hunkered down over chunkalicious
20-inch wheels, the Range Rover Sport is all broad
and beefy. Sport is a relative term when applied to
a nearly three-ton vehicle, but the Sport at least
adds a commendable dose of on-road competence
to the basic lux-ute formula — certainly if you opt
for the 390-hp supercharged version. And, hey, it's
not ugly like a Porsche Cayenne.
#10. Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad-Cab
