nav_man.gif Volvo C30 spotted in Ye Olde England
Hans G. Lehmann/ Hidden Image

Two disguised Volvo C30s went almost unnoticed on a quiet England street. That is before one resourceful photog picked up a camera and snagged just a few shots of the cars as they passed by the flat. They didn't come back around but you can see from the "aerial" image the short length of the new vehicle. Based on the same global C1 architecture shared by Ford's European Focus, Mazda 3 and Volvo S40, the C30 will be a premium compact aimed squarely at the VW Golf/GTI and Audi A3 by association. No word on the C30 coming to the U.S., but perhaps high gas prices will bring more premium small cars to North America.
